the first automatic gun you will have in the zone. capable of semi-auto and full auto. small, fast ROF, and somehow reliable. after replaced with newer models (MP5A4, MP5N, MP5SD) it's often seen in the zone from black markets. nice power made this gun good for assault, and the weight is so light. however,in the early games this gun will be useless since the ammo is rare. uses the famous 9 X 19 mm Para ammo

+ Cheap for an auto-gun, easy ammo in later stages, light weight, capable of attaching silencer, nice 9 MM Para ammo, reliable.

- fast ROF made this gun almost impossible to control while fired auto, spare magazine with pistols, inaccurate, un-scopeable.

yepp damn! valve. when i turned it to flood the area i got less than a min to fuckin' get out. after risen up to a higher level inside the the lab, i woken up where the area below me is flooded with fruit punch. the place is crawling with bandits (or renegades i'm not so sure). strelok's stash is in a secret room inside the air turbine, he is planning for a move to the center again. Lebedev informs me that from the stash he is going to use the scientists prototype to get past the scorcher. and the one that has the prototype is Sakharov in yantar. so i've got to get there and tell them about fuckin' strelok

now the underground. there's no way of turning back for me, coz accidentally i fell and can't climb back. this place was dark, until some fire turned up from some sort of pipe and FWOOSSH. the place got heats up. thank the SEVA suit for protecting me from fires. some snorks got jumped out, but i think there's no need to take them away. they burnt themselves till their last seconds of life. got past that strange dungeon. i came up and founded myself in a room with some equipment including a special scientific medkit. i took them away and head for the main room, the main room is the scary part of this underground (for SoC players it looks like X18 lab) where in the middle there's a tube with some sort of smoke crawling round it, and made a formation like a tornado or sort of it. the room was empty until i take my third running steps and BANG! my head got actually hurts and almost blacked out and i saw a bloodsucker running to me, which is actually an illusion. but nothing can made a realistic illusionatic thing like that, except a control mutant. that's strang a control mutant should've zombies crawling and guarding it. damn! why now? there's no way i can go through except i killed that mutant. he locked the exit door that leads to the valve room and exit stair. so well i killed that mutant. i've killed one of these and only to found myself tucked in a bed in cordon with a large scar and horrible gray eyes. so i can't stand too far or got punched out by his psy-attack, nor gets too close and slashed. so i keep my distance and pick him off by SPAS-12 shotgun. oops time out needs to close tha post hehe

here's agroprom. the base of paramilitary zone's group, they weren't so nice but i like them. their gear was really good, they have OTs-14 Groza (thunder s14 in-game) well they have the access to agroprom underground and i need that access now. well, underground wasn't so dangerous right? but they say no it was a hell, well still i need that access so some favor might weaken 'em. and yes i have to flood the under ground as i go for strelok's stash. the sarge will gimme necessary equipment (i thought he was goin to gimme an m3) and he gimme a SPAS12 (SPSU14 in-game). then i'm gone.

Agroprom Research institute

i'm at the duty base right now, and they say they have some problems with mutants. the guy at the post told me that the best way to ask something is in duty base. they have some mens that are going to the base, so? i don't want to have mutant problem, i'm sure i'll have to follow them as they have great weapons, when in the way to the base there is something jumping round the tree, the group's commander commands his squad and me to get a right-left flank wing position. as they start to open fire, BAM! a bloodsucker caught him and bring him somewhere. allright i'll have to forget bout that leader squad and concentrating on killing some snorks in a camp in my way to the base, it's nearly impossible for him to return (still possible for him to return as a dead-walking-unblooded-thing). more story later my friend

most cheap shotgun in the zone that uses 12 X 7 rounds inaccurate, unreliable, small, ineffective, small clip. that's the worst that a gun can do, cheaper than PMm delivers big damage to target, and great RPS(2 RPS) mostly used as primary by the zone's rookies

known as the best home made shotguns, built in pistol size or rifle. it's name sawn-off was from it's dual sawed-like chamber. how ever it's mechanism wasn't so far from standard pistol, hammer clocking system. favorited by americans and some were created with beautiful iron art for it's hand

some says this gun is nearly useless, but in fact it's better that sawn-off shotgun. uses 9 X 18 Makarov ammo. this gun provides good stoppage power against unarmored targets, mostly used by rookies of the zone as a primary weapon. small clip and attack, inaccurate and ineffective against armored targets

real world fact: designed as compact public pistol. some Ukrainan police uses this gun as secondary (although most instance have replaced it with Fora-12) cheap, and somehow can catch dirt which is good for jungle or swamp condition. small size makes it comfortable for urban missions, it's 9 X 18 ammo capable of stunning by real big punch for armored targets (Russian version ammo) sold for public as semi-auto

yeah i called them sandboxers hehe. ridiculous i know, this place wasn't as great as i though. not so big but not so small. yar is the technician here, and the man who own this place (not leader of freedom), Ashot is a funny-sounded trader who sells NATO gun add-ons M203 or SUSAT scopes,
chekov is the leader here, he has a nice SVU (bullpup futuristic dragunov) and Black Kite pistol (Russian desert eagle that uses .45 ACP rounds) they had some problem with a psy-dogs outside the base in scraggy encampment, i killed the dog. o yeah, psy-dogs is a dog that can create some illusion clone of themselves, some clone might hurts but they can't bleed me. well, now i've got a new task, to deliver some ammo to a camp. Ashot says "so, they've finally found a 'hero'. "Hero?" i said, then he explains that nobody had a nerve to out of a base or gone in unoccupied camps.

i'm at the camp and everybody's dead, with some free SA80 (IL86 in-game) picked up the PDA and i knew that the commandant hired some merc (my faction that becomes my enemy at this time) and become a traitor, Chekov told me to find the commandant he's at the farm encampment with his merc friends. so i'll need to flush those mercs, and bring back the PDA.

Chekov promised me bout fang, so he told me that fang's last signal is somewhere in garbage near flea market. i checked a back door at flea market, and BOOM! this is what i heard while stunned:
bandit 1 "this place is pretty tamed good, look at all this stalkers charging in here like flies"
bandit 2 "gah, too bad that 'Punk' got away"
bandit 1 "screw him, he dropped his shit, that's all that matters"
bandit 2 "yeah, let's grab the best stuff and get the hell outta here"
and i got into some sleep, my PDA ringin, it's Lebedev he told me to pick up fang's PDA it should be somewhere in that basement o yeah i found a flash disk. data on fang's PDA indicates that strelok is going to plan for a new move to the center of the zone, which will create the largest emission that affects outer-world as well as the zone itself. and will change the whole surface of the zone, also some data says that he was in Agroprom underground finding some information about scientists. still, it's unclear what he wants with scientists. and i need to get my stuffs back, gladly i made friends with bandits and finally take it in a stash. then i made my way to Agroprom

Dark valley

Ah! home of the freedom. it means it's time to relax now, except when they stressed me in first sight, they pointed their gun at my face!. i need to speak to their commander, NOW! in the way to freedom's base, they told me that i have to respond to SOS signal. i found the camp that sent the SOS signal, everybody is DEAD! it was calm enough until some Dogs came chase me. run to nearest freedom base, they're just below bridge with flame anomaly. take rest to refill your stamina, PHEW! a'ight don't come straight to the base, kill the dogs first. the tactics are:

- you can see a small cliff in the part of the camp that faces towards the camp you've just visited. DON'T GO DOWN TO THE DESERTED CAMP! snipe them from the cliff and they won't chase you probably because of the game bug

now it's good to go to freedom's base. eh wait, sorry guys ,i think it's time for my clear sky facebook page

i found the stalker that trapped in the lagoon. looks like he's preparing for a combat, he told me to get up to the rock, and kill the blind dogs (normal dogs) engaging him. i killed them all, here's the tactic:

-do what the stalker said, get up on the rock! pick up your pistol with largest ammo clip (i suggest your Fora-12), the stalker might pushes you sometimes, if you fell, quickly get up back to the rock, aim for body not head it will nearly useless with pistol, if you want you can use you Viper 5, make sure that your viper's ammo has been converted to 9 X 18 the 9 X 19 ammo is better with FN-HP although it's ok if you have more than 500 ammo of 9 X 19.

he introduces himself. his name is Vasyan, he told me that fang is last seen in dark valley, freedom's base. after that, i took some rest at the lagoon. it's a cool place. everything is calm... until the night time.

at night time Vasyan surprisingly takes combat position, i checked my PDA a red dot is targeting The Lagoon, it's Mutants, they're Snorks. here's my tactic to get out from lagoon with Vasyan stays alive and dead Snorks meat:

- whatever you're trying to do just protect Vasyan at all costs. get your shotgun now with classic shots ammo, try to stay them away from the tree vasyan are standing he'll help you with his pistol, i tell you why vasyan is so important, he sometimes offers high priced Stashes. even i can found a stash with Modified Viper 5, All modification + silencer, it's good for night sneak

well, if you have money make sure you bought 5 bands additon just in case, and head straight to dark valley. avoid bandits camps, if they saw you, just run out of there. that's it!

arrived at the garbage finally, home of those bandits, AND SNORKS!!! well it's great to be here, but.. the place is crawling with dogs, snorks, bandits, and freedoms. i think loners population is too few here, I've got to capture some camp. first step in the garbage should be easy until i found that the bandits has a base right in the place where i popped. without any second thoughts i threw 2 grenades to the camp, killed 2 peps. and the others were catches 5.45 bullet in their head and body, some were slashed - off (see! knife is the strongest weapon after all) there i'm waiting for the reinforcements. it came and there time to go to the digger. I followed my mini-map and everything i found is dead bodies and a strange camp. maybe there is something we can do with those bodies and there is nothing. mmm... wait, hey a loot! might be useful. wait... THIS IS THE PDA DAMN IT!. it says there is a stalker trapped at somekind of dig site. he might knows fang, well, i need to speak to him and makes everything clear. but before i left a growling sound heard not far from where i'm standing, i looked back and GROWL!!! A SNORK SHIT RAGGEDY ASS MOTHERFUCKER!!!!! IT LEAPS ME I'M SHITLY SCARED THE FUCK OUT SHIT!!!!! DIE U BASTARD ASS ~SLASH!~ allright it dies nicely with knife. a'ight, i'm shitted the out of it and the entry ends here my friends.

i met the stalkers beyond embankment. apparently, they seem don't care about any other factions goal, they called loners but in my PDA called stalkers. they told me that they have a big problem with the military they've lost a loot with rare components in it and i have to find the case and return it to Sidorovich. Major Khaletskiy knows the case's location and i can't crack him out - except if i can destroy the military at elevator and depot he might crack-out like an egg- so there when i arrived at elevator i saw some loners fighting off militants, just follow the rules: give them cover fire, kill some enemies, loot items, Etc. well i managed to kill those militants, here i wrote down my tactics to fight em off:

-in elevator, fly some grenades into a building with a truck inside to reduce their health (although it will lower your chance to loot free bandages)
as you see them open fire with your SMG Viper 5 (you have it, right?) and blow a red barrel in truck outside, some of them might tried to fuck out after your grenade blown-up, and one more thing, take all ak, look at your inventory, right click on your ak (if you have another one) unload, and drop to save weight and ammo

-in depot before opening fire, talk to a stalker guarding a fire-camp, ask them 'does ammo really worth it?' and they will offer you to save some 5.45 ammo. give them 500 roubles and they will help you fight through the depot (now i understand with saving 5.45 ammo kill the military to get the ammo). The depot is bit harder. and there is a rookie army in there carrying a fora - 12 it should be easy if you have squads, ACT QUICK! or all of the squads will die. the military should be easy to defeat if you have at least 2 grenades, they hid in two story building and warehouse sent a grenade to fly in a warehouse and bang! open fire at whatever you sees (except your squads if they're still alive) it will takes bout, 7 bands (bandages i'd prefer to call em bands) and 4 meds, so loot every army medkit, coz it can heal and fix your bleed. also in a two story building, in a room with mattress in it (second floor), there are two cardboards that contain a med and 3 grenades

and what Valerian said was right, Khaletskiy cracked like an over-boiled egg. there will be various locations of the loot. in a building that guarded with bandits, under a road with a crashed car and a lit firecamp (there is someone over there called lambee, driver for Khaletskiy he offers you to deal and seperate the loot together. DON'T TRUST HIM! pick up your pistol, aim for the head, and BANG! loot what he has to use don't hope of any ammo or weapons he is completely unarmed), and a mill in elevator.

found what sidorovich needs? good he told me that the stalker is somewhere over garbage. ask the digger for further instruction. D*mn. well there is another military place to pick-off the outpost to garbage. simply rush-out everybody there, there will be about 2 - 3 armiesafter that head for a room in the building to move to garbage

here i am at the Cordon, cool place and well, uh, what can i say? things have changed around. Nothing was the same again i popped out just next to army base, D*MN!! what i was thinking is just to run run and run the fuckin out of it goddamn it. shit my armor, it went all down! wait, huh gladly it's my leather jacket Phew.... a'ight back to business. i found Sidorovich in a rookie camp in the underground room. straight up, i asked bout stalker that interested with strange components, well he didn't remember him, i could've just killed him or at least beat him up, well he lost his loot and any faction who can take it over will be supplied with sidorovich's weapon. well another task to go. let's see some stalkers at neutral base, right, eh?

huh, it's some warm-up in the swamps. Well, that was NOT a real challenge (except the blood-sucker shitty assholes) i mean, i have an automatic SMG (viper) with some modification (Accuracy +40%, Bullet +15, Handling +10%) and all of them were using ass shotguns or almost broke into two SMG's. huh world was NOT fair for them (but, honestly the world is fair to me) time to leave swamps and chase over a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. that interested in rare components. those clear sky says i have to talk to Sidorovich the trader i know the zone but it's been a long time and new anomalies appears and they say as i go the emission will occur over and over. well they say the cordon is different, what safe is unsafe. where humans walk, now monsters on it. well goodbye the strange place of swamps (and Gbye shitty blood-sucker damned f*ckin mother-f*ckers)

well the deeper i gone to the zone the more unique, well that's fact i flush out about 2 or 3 groups of bandits, it was though but was not that though enough he he. o yeah here's a little article i found in one of those bandits, apparently they like to write bout themselves

He came at them right as they were frisking his teammate's pockets. There were three sitting at the victim’s backpack and sharing the booty, while another one was rummaging the pockets. Blood rushed to the stalker’s face making him blind with anger. He opened fire kill-thirsty. Bullets were a Zone currency, but he did not spare it this time, bestowing killers and marauders with his lavish gifts.

Representatives of criminal world who came into the Zone for different reasons: earn from selling the artefacts, hide from the law, buy or sell weapons. The Zone has quite a few of this element, ranging from hoodlums to hardened criminals.

Most of the time they are united into gangs, however there is still no unified bandit organization in the Zone. Bandits pose a big trouble to rank-and-file stalkers.

The Marsh Blood-Sucker

Phew! it's though in the swamps actually not only those renegades and anomalies i could not believe i met a blood-sucker but much more different than the usual sucker much dangerous and different camouflage pattern that suits the swamps condition

When you are walking through the marsh this mutant can attack you every minute. It is subspecies of well known bloodsucker. Habits and appearance differ from its land congener.

It has very good muscular system and ability to do great jumps but also it can carry off stalker without any problem. For this moment nobody who was carried off by this mutant couldn't return and answer what it does with its victim. May be it kills them by its clawhand, drown in to the water or may be sucks the blood out from the alive human.

Also like the bloodsucker the swamp creature can be invisible and that's why its attacks are unexpected. But even in usual condition because of its dark and thick hair coat it is hard to notice in the dark water among maze of marsh paths.

Man, i got some serious shit in ukraina. last thing i remembered before woken up in an abandoned base is i was leading up some scientists to the zone when there are some bird out and fly against our direction and pseudo-dogs (or blind dogs) follows the direction of the birds, strange what's happening i came up to a top of a hill where i can see a destroyed train and there an emission appears, flushing everyone in the middle of the zone. then i woken up in a base they called themselves as Clear Sky as you can see above. well they're not exactly like that in the first sight they're really poor all that they have was dual-barreled shotguns and hunting rifles some of the experts carries Viper 5 (MP 5) and the guide that leads me to the swamps where i got hit by another emission (wew i got lucky for the second time) carries over an AKM-74U well they can go nowhere except around the swamps with pressure from renegades. and Lebedev (The leader) ordered me to help them destrpy the renegades! hey, what? C'mon i have to see another Merc Where are they anyway. gah, who cares it's better to help those whose never meant to take over the zone, they were doing some kind of anomalies research of the zone. oh yeah after the emission there is something wrong with nerve system unfortunately no doctor can fix it. Shit
